Market After Dark on your calendar. It's one of Market After Dark is one of "Downtown Cedar Rapids' largest,
free, open-air events." Focused on providing lively entertainment, the market delivers on fun, record numbers were recorded in 2019, and are projected to be even higher this year!

Indian Creek Nature Center (ICNC) has a mission to make sustainable information available to its community by providing environmental education and by encouraging its community members to interact with nature responsibly. ICNC hosts educational yet fun events throughout the year like the
Farm-to-Table dinners at the &
Maple Syrup Festival.

The
Theatre Cedar Rapids (TCR) is a "100-year-old theater company in a historic building in downtown Cedar Rapids," that prides itself in creating joy in the community by offering a variety of shows and performances, to keep its patrons happy and coming back!
The
Brucemore Mansion blends a mix of history and entertainment all in one beautiful home. Built in 1886, the property has had three prominent owners before it was donated to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 1981. Now, the mansion holds many of the community's favorite events throughout the year including
Brucemore's Music in the Courtyard
St Jude's Sweet Corn Festival is all for "making life fun." This family-friendly festival started in 1976 and still strives to pack the fun with a carnival, corn hosting, bags tournament, and lots of live entertainment.
Houby Days is a Czech Village event and is held to celebrate the Czech and Slovak traditions the village so artfully honors. Come for live music, delicious food, and local craft vendors, stay for the Kolaches! Trust us, stay for the Kolaches!

Cedar Rapids really knows how to celebrate its holidays! Starting with
St. Patrick's Day, Cedar Rapids has been ranked as one of the 15th best places to visit to celebrate St. Paddy's Day with its
SaPaDaPaSo event. Keeping with their over-the-top style, the city's Fourth of July event isn't just a one-day celebration, the
Freedom Festival is a 3-week long event leading up to July 4th. And of course, the event ends with the largest fireworks show in Iowa
